As the world is still battling COVID-19, the European Parliament decided to move the dates of EYE2021 to 8-9 October, to possibly allow physical participation to the event.

Taking into account the evolution of the pandemic and health measures in place, it would not be possible to safely host participants in Strasbourg this May. Therefore, the European Parliament has decided to postpone EYE2021 to 8-9 of October 2021

EYE2021 will have a new and exciting format: it is planned as a hybrid event, giving participants the possibility to participate in-person in the European Parliament in Strasbourg or attend the event online, through a dedicated digital platform. Because the change of dates of the event and restrictions imposed by the applicable financial rules, EYE2021 will not feature the Yo!Fest organised in previous editions by the European Youth Forum.

The spirit of the EYE is not changing though! The event gives voice to young people and strives to promote inclusivity, accessibility, and sustainability. As always, the indoor and the outdoor programme of EYE2021 is co-created and co-designed with youth organisations and participants themselves.

If you would like to organise an activity at EYE2021, check back in spring for the launch of our new call for grants and the call for activity organisers.

The best activity proposals will be selected, published in the official EYE2021 programme and attended either virtually or physically by young people from all over Europe.
