Discover how you can participate

On 8-9 October 2021, the European Youth Event (EYE2021) will bring together at the European Parliament in Strasbourg thousands of young people from all over the European Union and beyond, to shape and share their ideas on the future of Europe.

To make sure that young people from all over Europe are able to come to Strasbourg, the European Parliament launched a call for youth groups to receive a financial contribution to their travel and accommodation costs.

As the EYE2021 programme is co-created with young people, the European Parliament also launched a call for activity proposals.

Do you want to meet motivated young people and discover the cultural wealth of Europe? Join a team of hundreds of volunteers at EYE2021 and contribute to an event organised for young people, by young people!

Deadline to apply: 28 June

The European Parliament is calling on active and engaged groups to participate in EYE2021! Groups will receive a financial contribution to their travel and accommodation costs. Groups are selected on the basis of their engagement and the unique perspective they bring to the event.

Groups with disabilities or coming from rural or remote areas, or from a disadvantage socio-economic background will be prioritised.

Due to the COVID-related restrictions, the number of participants allowed in Strasbourg is limited and applications meeting the above criteria will be treated on a first-come first-served basis.

The call is now closed.

To contribute to the programme of the event, the European Parliament is looking for active and engaged groups wishing to organise an in-person activity during EYE2021.

The proposals should be original, interactive, and encourage active participation from the audience.

All selected proposals will be published in the official EYE2021 programme and be free to attend for all participants coming from all over Europe and beyond.

The best proposals may receive a financial contribution to their travel and accommodation costs from the European Parliament.

The call is now closed.
