YOUTH NETWORK EVENT 2022

Youth Network Event: Taking it into our own hands, from ideas to impact

The Youth Network Event is an annual co-creation and networking opportunity for youth organisations from all over the EU, hosted by the European Parliament in Brussels, with a focus on organisations working at a local and regional level or working with disadvantaged young people.

The Youth Network Event aims to build a strong partnership between the European Parliament and youth organisations: It also allows European youth organisations working in the areas of European democracy and active citizenship to network with each other.

The 2022 edition of the event took place on 22-23 June 2022 with participants from around 100 youth organisations. The event was organised in a fully participatory format and provided an environment for open dialogue between the European Parliament and young people.

The third edition of the Youth Network Event was organised under the title Taking it in our hands: from our ideas to our impact.

The event participants discussed with each other what possibilities there are to develop further lasting actions connected to the youth ideas. Beyond that, everyone also had the opportunity to propose new discussion topics. For instance, there were discussions on how to get more diverse people involved in the youth offer from the European Parliament or how to ensure that more young people are elected during elections.

If you were a participant, do not forget to join the Youth Network Facebook group to be in touch!
